![]() ![]() Paint roughness into some parts, paint displacement into others. ![]() With painter you can add fingerprints and dirt to the handle, edge wear on the metal and the blade, tiny scratches. Usually if you're texturing you'd create a material and assign it to parts of the model, if you create a Knife you'd put wood on the handle and metal on the blade and that's it. ![]() Its really what it says, instead of just grabbing materials and placing them on polygons you paint on the model to give it a more intricate look. You can see painter as a way to texture your designs with greater depth and detail, taking single models to the next level as far as texturing goes. ![]()
